Kevin Thomas
Executive & Leadership Coach
Kevin Thomas is an organizational development practitioner, consultant, and certified leadership coach through the International Coaching Federation. He earned a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and has since gone on to complete professional coach training through Co-Active Training Institute. He is certified in LEADx Emotional Intelligence Habits™, SLII® (Situational Leadership), Talogy Caliper Assessment, and popular 360 assessments such as the Leadership Practices Inventory and Leadership Circle Profile.
Kevin has served organizations such as Google, Tesla, Cruise, SandboxAQ, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, GEHA, IPG Mediabrands, MITRE, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, 1st Source Bank, Long Beach City College, and numerous others. These opportunities allowed for him to develop thousands of employees through 1:1 coaching, group coaching, and professional leadership training. Kevin is most passionate about coaching leaders, facilitating workshops, and designing leadership programs.
Kevin’s coaching practice is grounded in the belief that development occurs from the inside out. By building self-awareness, identifying limiting beliefs, and creating alignment with core values, clients can transform into the leader they aspire to be. Throughout the coaching engagement, Kevin fosters a co-created relationship with each client built on trust, curiosity, compassion, and support.
Kevin offers the following services:
• 1:1 and group coaching for all levels of management and leadership particularly around emotional intelligence, burnout, goal setting, and communicating effectively
• Administering and debriefing 360-degree and personality assessments
• Delivering keynote presentations
• Consulting with companies to establish and/or refine their mission, vision, values, and corporate culture
• Facilitating offsite leadership retreats and teambuilding events
• Conducting workshops on a variety of topics including Coaching, Feedback, Change Management, Accountability, and other foundational leadership skills
Today, Kevin serves as the Director of Coaching Solutions for LEADx, a startup technology organization, dedicated to developing leaders around the world through personalized learning and building effective habits. As the founder of Pave Your Own Path, he partners with ambitious leaders from challenging or adverse backgrounds to maximize their potential, break generational cycles, and create their own destiny.
